Non Heated Yoga (Beginner)
This is a yoga class for just about everybody. Beginners and flexibility-challenged people are of course welcome, along with seasoned yogis looking to reconnect with the basics. This class will teach you basic yet fundimental yoga poses (asanas) and combines stretching, balancing, and strengthening poses with breath awareness and relaxation. Benefits the body, mind, and spirit.
Hot Yoga classes are held in a 90-95 degree room. Our teachers will guide you mindfully through a series of asanas/postures while providing their own teaching “flair”. The series of asanas are designed to work every muscle, ligament, tendon, and joint in the body creating a stronger leaner body. This class is perfect for beginners and still challenging for the advanced student! We encourage props in our classes like blocks and straps to help you safely attain an asana for your ability level. Leave class feeling refreshed, balanced and detoxed. Please bring a large towel, mat and water with you to class.
In Vinyasa yoga every movement is associated with a breath. It is a flowing yoga class that incorporates strength, flexibility and stamina! This class will give you a great workout and leave you feeling rejuvenated throughout the entire body. In this class, count on building long lean muscles, and learning proper alignment of the body in all the poses. Room temp is around 90 degrees.
Non-Heated Vinyasa Flow:
In Vinyasa yoga every movement is associated with a breath. It is a flowing yoga class that incorporates strength, flexibility and stamina! It is a progressive class that gradually warms up the hips, pelvis, legs and upper body. We will build heat through movement, explore balancing both sides of the body, range of motion, strength, stamina and moving beyond habitual holding patterns in movement all guided by the breath. This class is suitable for beginners as well as those with a more experienced practice with modifications offered for all levels.
